Key Responsibilities
Custom Solution Development: Design, develop, and implement custom Salesforce solutions to meet the unique needs of our clients. This includes coding in Apex, creating Visualforce pages, and developing Lightning components.
Integration and Data Migration: Work on integrating Salesforce with other business systems and applications. Handle data migration tasks and ensure data integrity and security within Salesforce.
Requirements Gathering and Analysis: Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for Salesforce solutions.
System Optimization and Maintenance: Monitor the performance of Salesforce solutions, identifying areas for improvement. Maintain and enhance existing Salesforce applications to ensure they continue to meet client needs.
Technical Support and Training: Provide technical support to users, resolving issues as they arise. Train clients and internal users on Salesforce functionalities and best practices.
Quality Assurance: Participate in the testing of Salesforce solutions, ensuring they meet quality standards. Collaborate with QA teams to develop testing strategies and resolve any issues identified.
Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of development processes, solutions, and modifications. Document best practices and lessons learned for future reference.
Stay Up-to-Date: Keep abreast of the latest Salesforce features, tools, and best practices. Continuously enhance your skills and knowledge through professional development opportunities.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in Salesforce development, with a strong understanding of the Salesforce platform and its capabilities.
Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components.
Experience with Salesforce data tools (Data Loader, Excel Connector, etc.) and integration middleware (e.g., MuleSoft, Informatica).
Knowledge of web services (REST & SOAP, JSON & XML, etc.).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, comfortable working in a collaborative consulting environment.
Salesforce Developer Certification (Platform Developer I or II) is highly preferred.
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
Experience with additional Salesforce Cloud solutions (e.g., Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud).
Previous consulting or agency experience, with exposure to various industries and projects.
